For over five years Alex Bort has been Consolidated Credit Counseling Services' Community Development Manager. His mission is to generate awareness about personal finance issues to the business community and the general public.

Mr. Bort assists in developing promotional material and community outreach programs. He has traveled around the country conducting seminars and workshops to employee groups on topics such as Learn to Live Debt Free and Within Your Means, How to Protect Yourself from Identity Theft, Develop Smart Spending Habits Now, Tips to Improve Your Credit Score and Build Your Own Budget.

Mr. Bort has also spearheaded financial literacy initiatives with organizations such as AOL Latino, E-Loan, Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union, and Miami Dade Affordable Housing.

He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University and is an AFCPE Certified Credit Counselor.
