Software allows businesses to process mobile credit card payments
Thanks to the many advancements that have been made in mobile phone technology in recent years, a new program will allow small businesses to accept credit card payments anytime from anywhere.
Sage North America, a business software company, recently introduced a new program that will allow small businesses to process credit card orders anywhere they can use a cell phone to connect to a 3G mobile network. Payment Boss lets employees of small businesses to access their merchant account, and both process and verify all credit card payments made to the company. The program will also send out an electronic receipt.
Sage Payment Boss can also be used in conjunction with the company’s billing program, which helps businesses not only ensure that they are paid immediately, but also track and manage their incoming cash flow, monitor sales activity and reconcile credit card transactions in real time. When used together, these programs help small companies completely eliminate the need for paperwork.
There have been a number of advancements in mobile payment technology. Several major carriers recently announced a plan to implement a mobile payment system that would let them use their smartphones in lieu of their credit card.
