Miramar Vice Mayor Alexandra P. Davis and Consolidated Credit Solutions will host a Home Preservation event on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sunset Lakes Community Center located at 2801 S.W. 186th Avenue.
According to Vice Mayor Davis, “Even though the economy is slowly picking up, there are many that are on the cusp of foreclosure. This event will help many to avoid the pitfalls of foreclosure. Homeownership is the backbone of any community and we must do everything we can to preserve it.”
At this event, HUD certified counselors can advise you on your mortgage, discuss various funding options and you can also speak with lenders and servicers on site as well.
Maria Gaitan, Housing Counseling Manager with Consolidated Credit stated, “This is a wonderful opportunity for any consumer with questions about their mortgage or dealing with their servicer to sit down with a Housing Counselor from a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency at no charge and discuss their options and see what kind of solutions are available to them”.
