Consolidated Credit Announces Thanksgiving Contest Winners

Thanksgiving Leftovers Recipe Photo Contest winners revealed

Consolidated Credit asked consumers to show off how creative they could be in the kitchen by creating new dishes from their Thanksgiving meal leftovers.

Chelsea Heilman of Monessen, PA won first place for her original “Turkey Dinner Pizza” recipe made out of leftover potatoes, stuffing, and turkey. Kristine Ream of Columbus, OH won second place for her “Sticky Sweet Potato Pancakes” recipe made with Bisquick and sweet potatoes.

What great recipes and fantastic ways to use your leftovers! At Consolidated Credit, we teach consumers about the importance of maintaining a budget, while spending smarter on necessities like food. It gives us a sense of joy to see our Facebook fans show just how frugal they can be by making new dishes out of their Thanksgiving leftovers instead of throwing away perfectly edible food.

The grand prize winner will receive a $100 cash card and the second place runner up will receive a $75 cash card. In addition, both winners will be spotlighted on Consolidated Credit’s social media platforms.

Contestants submitted their original recipes photos and ingredients through Consolidated Credit’s Facebook page. Winners were chosen based on the recipe’s originality and the number of votes received.
