Consolidated Credit Renews Partnership with Junior Achievement to Expand Financial Education

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – February 3, 2026

With nearly 8 in 10 American adults carrying personal debt, Consolidated Credit has spent decades helping consumers regain control of their finances.  That mission continues with the renewal of their partnership with Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA), one of the nation’s leading organizations dedicated to preparing young people for economic success.

Together, Consolidated Credit and JA offer hands-on financial education programs that help students build money confidence early and carry those skills into adulthood.

Hey, come with us. We’ve got something to show you.
I think it’s important for students to see a different perspective of what the real world is like. Because reading it in a textbook or hearing it from a lecture really doesn’t put the full perspective of what that job entails; what are the commitments that they need to have.
And what we see is the kids come through the program here with confidence with questions with with leadership capabilities and and that’s a real big part of why we’ve continued.
Junior Achievement is out there helping prevent people from getting into financial problems in the first place by educating
our youth.
We’re involved in JA Bistown because we’re also interested in educating youth, not just youth, but educating their parents as well on the importance of money management and the challenges that the modern debt credit
system can have.

We are so thrilled to be here today to welcome our partner,ConsolidatedCredit.com here for the fourth year in Discovery Park.

We are so happy and proud to be a part of it yet another year and hopefully for many years to come.

So thank you!

“Financial education should start long before someone faces their first credit card bill,” said Gary Herman, President of Consolidated Credit. “Our support for JA dates back decades, including helping support JA World’s development in 2009. We’re proud to continue working with JA to give families practical financial tools that support students’ futures.”

At the heart of JA World are Storefront Partners, local businesses and organizations that sponsor life-size storefronts representing real industries and career paths. These storefronts transform classroom lessons into immersive experiences where students run banks, manage expenses, and explore professions, bringing financial literacy to life in a way that connects education to real-world economic decision-making.

By grounding financial literacy in real-world experiences, for students and parents alike, Consolidated Credit and Junior Achievement of South Florida are helping families understand not only how money works, but why smart financial decisions matter for life.

About Consolidated Credit: Their mission is to empower families across the United States to overcome financial crises and build long-term financial stability through trusted education and professional counseling.
