Depending on where you reside, you may use this portal to make certain requests regarding your personal information collected, held, and shared by consolidatedcredit.org.

If you decide to submit a data request to address your personal information in our possession, we will evaluate the request to determine (based on the totality of circumstances) whether your request is more likely than not accurate and will update your personal information based on the information provided in your request. We will consider any documentation you provide in support of your request as part of our evaluation to address your personal information. You may further make a request to limit the use of any sensitive information in our possession (for instance SSN, account information, etc.). Please note that any request by phone must be followed up in writing. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days after your submission. While we will try to honor your request as soon as possible, however depending on your state of residence we have an initial 45 days, with the ability to seek additional time, to respond with confirmation of correction or an explanation of the reasons we were unable to correct your personal information. Also depending on your state of residence, we may also inform you that we need up additional days to respond to your request and provide the reason we need additional time, and the amount of time needed. The length of time which we may extend our response may vary from state to state but shall not exceed the time allowed by law.

Depending on the type of request that you submit, we may share your data request with third parties and the information shared with third parties. If applicable, we will request that third parties comply with your data requests and provide verification of compliance. We are not able to guarantee that all third parties will comply with data requests. We will inform you of the third parties we have shared your information with, so that should you wish to request data from a third party, you may submit your request directly with that organization. Depending on the type of request, we may be unable to assist you in providing our services.
