Ft. Lauderdale, FL – October 30, 2025 – Consolidated Credit Community Outreach Manager, Giovanna Gilliotti, led a workshop for members of the Memorial Healthcare System, Mothers Overcoming Maternal Stress (MOMS) program on the topic, “Mental Health and Financial Health.”
More than thirty moms and their partners attended the session, where they explored a holistic approach to achieving life balance. The workshop also covered valuable tips on saving money—especially relevant given today’s high cost of living.
The MOMS program at Memorial Healthcare System is designed to support mothers experiencing maternal stress, anxiety, or depression. The program offers a range of services to help improve mental health and family functioning, including in-home cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting classes, community resources, and case management services. The program also offers flexible hours for counseling, transportation to appointments, and assistance with applying for government assistance programs. Participants have reported improved family functioning and attachment with their children.
The program has served over 1,500 participants since its inception in 2008.
