The webinars provide valuable strategies to empower individuals in various aspects of personal finance, with knowledge and confidence to manage their financial well-being.

On July 8th in English and July 15th in Spanish, Identity Theft, Fraud, and Cybersecurity teach consumers how to defend themselves and their wallet against identity theft, cybercrime, and digital scams. Attendees in this webinar will learn:

  • How to respond to identity theft with recovery steps
  • Ways to validate digital communication and prevent phishing attacks

On Sept 9th in English and September 16th in Spanish, Understanding Buy Now, Pay Later: Benefits, Risks, and Best Practices will show consumers how not to let “Pay Later” turn into “Pay More” and how to enjoy flexible terms without racking up debt. From this webinar, we will learn:

  • The advantages of Buy Now, Pay Later for flexible budgeting and interest-free financing
  • Potential pitfalls like late fees, overspending, and credit impact
  • How to read the fine print and sync BNPL payments with your budget

Webinars are held at 1p.m. EST on the second Wednesday of each month in English and on the third Wednesday of each month in Spanish.  All webinar content in English and Spanish will be on-demand at Consolidated Credit’s Financial Resource Center following the live broadcast.
